Reblog: Top 5 Tips to Build Wealth and Success

As I was surfin the net, I came by this article from yahoo! finance...
as it is relevant to what this blog aims into disseminating to the public...
Financial awareness
then
Financial knowledge.

Top 5 Tips to Build Wealth and Success

Peter Gorenstein and Farnoosh Torabi

Warren Buffett is worth $45 billion. That wealth isn't only a factor of savvy investing and good business — the "Oracle of Omaha" is also known as a penny pincher. Buffett still lives in the same Omaha, Neb., home he bought in 1958 for $31,500.
Follow his frugal formula, and you too may wind up with a lot more money than you ever dreamed.

This week Financially Fit covers five tips to build wealth and success.

1. Live Below Your Means.
Being wealthy isn't just a product of your salary or investment prowess; it's learning how to save.

"We can make a lot of money, you can make a little bit of money, but the second you spend all the money is when people get into trouble. Saving is the key to preserving your wealth," says Ed Butowsky, managing partner of Chapwood Capital Investment Management, a firm that manages money for wealthy individuals.
As many Americans realized during the booming real estate market, just because you think you can afford something doesn't mean you should buy it. Keeping an eye on your bottom line will pay dividends over the long term.

2. Bounce Back From Defeat
With nearly 15 million workers unemployed right now in the U.S., it's easy to get discouraged. Don't! Most successful and wealthy people have overcome obstacles and failure along the way. Steve Jobs was ousted from Apple when he was 30. Today, he's a billionaire and a legend. Plus, after getting fired, he created another billion-dollar media company, Pixar.

"Bouncing back from defeat is something all great achievers have. They have this undying belief good things will happen and will continue to happen," says Butowsky.

Take Michael Jordan. "His airness" was cut from his high school basketball team. Motivated by the rejection, Jordan became a star the next season. The rest is history.

3. Self-Promote
Regardless of the profession, the rich and successful tend to have a strong sense of self-worth — key to skillfully navigating an upward career path. Mark Hurd, who was ousted as CEO of Hewlett-Packard in August, couldn't be kept down for long. Using his business skills and connections, in September, Hurd was named president of Oracle. (Hurd and Oracle founder Larry Ellison are known to be close friends.)

4. Have Street Smarts
Bernie Madoff lived the high life for decades, scamming unsuspecting clients, with a money-making formula that proved too good to be true. Only afterward did we learn that with a little due diligence, most clients could have easily uncovered the fraud.
But it's not only the swindlers and the con men you have to watch out for. Many times, friends and family take advantage of the rich. Whether it's a handout or an investment idea, Butowsky advises his high net worth clients that in most cases, it's wisest to just say "no." The best way to do that: have someone else do it for you.
"You need to really set up a wall between you and your family," he advises. "If you don't want to give them (family or friends) money ... saying no is probably a good idea."

5. Buy Cheap
The rich can afford to splurge, but that doesn't mean they do.
John Paulson, a billionaire hedge fund manager, bought his Hamptons "dream house at a bargain basement price," according to Greg Zuckerman, author of the Paulson-based book, "The Greatest Trade Ever." The story has it that Paulson eyed the home while it was in foreclosure. Finally, on a rain-soaked day, he purchased the home on the Southampton town hall steps. He was the only bidder.
On New York City's Upper East Side, Michael's— The Consignment Shop for Women— has been a bargain-hunting destination for more than 60 years. "We have a good percentage of women who can afford to shop on Madison Avenue but really like the idea of saving that money," says proprietor Tammy Gates.
From Chanel to Gucci and Louis Vuitton, the store specializes in high-end designer merchandise for a reasonable price. Speaking of her clientele, Gates says, "they're wealthy for a reason. They recognize that bargains keep people wealthy. Paying top dollar when you don't have to doesn't make sense."

Jack Canfield explains: How To Accelerate Your End Result

Yes, as we have blogged about earlier, we came to a decision into making up your mind on what it is that you want to do?
specifically on getting rich or let me rephrase that
being "financially independent"...

so ..
now here comes the part where we go by the steps
to achieving that optimum end result...

ASK
BELIEVE
RECEIVE

These aren't just make up steps...
These are actually proven steps from successful people
who've managed to bring themselves up from rags to riches...

and
this doesn't only happen on movies..
THIS
actually does happen in real life.

YES
We too can dream to make it BIG
and as said " why listen to those who'se always hand in hand with failure?"
NO
Your empathy to these negative people is actually indirectly pulling you down, on your beliefs..on your views about success..

so
come lets change that..listen to people who've actually DONE IT AND MADE IT.
these are the people who can offer us positive criticisms and motivation

so as we can be one day seated at the same pedestal as them.

ASK
BELIEVE
RECEIVE

Here's Jack Canfield once again

ASK
done?

BELIEVE
(make the first step on paving that path to financial independence)
<<<<<<CLICK HERE>>>>>>

RECEIVE
(^_^) receive the rewards from your investment

Till next time Millionaire

HOW TO GET RICH

Jack Canfield is the author of the multi billion selling book "Chicken Soup for the Soul" ...ever read one?

I have and it's one of the many books I take the time to find...

cram on the National Bookstore shelves ( reading a few pages per visit to the mall...which i can finish in 2 visits and at times..just once..lol)

or..

find a friend..and "borrow" the book's new release.

(How come i never really owned one of his books??? lol... well j.f.y.i. i usually do "read and absorb/comprehend", not really the type to reread a book im done with)

hahaha... if you haven't picked up one yet...

you better go and read one...
get one from amazon.com or at your nearest bookstore.

Anyway,

We are here to talk about HOW TO GET RICH???

How exactly?

Here's a short vid from Jack Canfield himself (cause as you might not know, he too is one of the world's motivational speakers and trainers...)

so listen well...

Done watching???

and..

HAVE YOU MADE THE DECISION YET???

IF YOU DID and Im guessing we're on the positive here...yeah?

Then let's get you started then :)

<<<<<<<GET RICH! INVEST! CLICK HERE!>>>>>>>

but with all that said...

WEALTH IS STILL UNATTAINABLE WITHOUT YOU WORKING IT OUT.

Open your mind... (learn)

Open your pocket... (invest)

Open your heart... (have the conviction on what you are doing)

and...

Open your hands... ( make it work..make it BIG!)

Till next time Millionaire :)

Simply put: This is generally how we LIVE AND SPEND

Here's a Philippine children's song, entitled " Ang Lobo Ko"

..long since I have heard this song or hummed through it's rhythmical tune.....
yeah now I remember It has been ages since... I was in preschool - grade school where teachers faithfully taught us the song and taught us in the simplest sense the value of "THRIFTINESS"... in how to value and spend money wisely...

"ANG LOBO KO"

Ako ay may lobo
I have a balloon
lumipad sa langit
Which flew to the sky
di ko na nakita
I no longer saw it
pumutok na pala
It had burst after all.

Sayang ang pera ko
I wasted my money
pambili ng lobo
(The money) used to buy the balloon
kung pagkain sana
If it were spent on food instead
nabusog na ako
I would have been full (or sated)

The question now is HAVE WE LIVED BY THESE VALUES?

I personally can say..For the past puberty years I have fallen into the pull..the need...to spend on WANTS.

What attracts the eye..certainly can attract your credit card..or your supposedly savings.

I guess we have all been living in a society where we are all well too pampered..and brain washed. Everywhere advertisements..every corner..billboards.

Streets = billboards
Office = magazines
Home = Television

and when we have the fuel, we're always tempted to ignite the fire.

The more you have the money, the more you are tempted.

A usual cycle that had us all programmed from birth till death..

Earn...Spend..Earn..Spend...Earn ..maybe a bit of Savings ..Spend again.

There is no security.

On my part  ... It was a gradual change.
Environment completely is a strong factor on that.

When I flew to Malaysia,
lived ..absorbed and learned..
the simple intricacy of conflicting culture, values and socio economic stand
Had helped to gradually reboot my head.. :)
It challenged what I believed in.
Challenged but willing.

Yes, important key as always is keeping an open mindset.

Just because you can't accept it or do not believe it, doesn't mean that you have to brush it off completely as well... leave a lil room for learning new things..explore options..challenge your ideals.. and you'll be surprise at the tantamount of things there is STILL to know of, and learn in this world...

And that involves MONEY.
Finance is a broad subject..and I am no expert on that...hell no..but i am educating myself..
slowly...gradually..
It's been hard.. coz sometimes you will be challenged...tempted..it seems easier to fall back to the path you've been before..than go any further forward.

I have faltered at times..I admit that.
But determined.

Yes indeed..money isn't everything, cliche " Money can't buy you happiness"

BUT

Money can get you a comfortable home
Money can get your mother and father / wife or husband, off that 8 hour shift job they've been enduring
Money can get you an advantage
Money can get you food
Money can help you enjoy life a lil more "oh"
Enough Money can get you Financial Freedom.

And when you live COMFORTABLY...at ease..with no pressure
YOU WILL BE HAPPY.

Here's the catch,
we've always been raised on the mindset of THRIFTINESS or STINGINESS.
nothing wrong with that, in fact that's a very good foundation..the first step at greatness

BUT HEY!

Why do we have to live with less or just make do of the lil amount of money we are earning???

When in fact..we can live LARGE..BIG!!!

There are a thousand of opportunities waiting to be grabbed by YOU.

Invest my friend.
Why ask for a million dollar, when you just sit on your 8 hour work with the minimum wage.

Prepare your field.
Invest on business... there are a lot of small business right now that requires not that big of an investment

Like Networking Companies for example, MLM companies
there's nothing wrong with them as long as you do study
the marketing plan and stability of the company.

Do sales, direct selling..or extra income jobs.

These are all a matter of effort.
If you work it out. It has great potential of earning you MILLIONS!!!

Jessie J: Price Tag

Okay... today i'd really love to post this hit song called "Price Tag" by none other Jessie J.

firstly because it has this catchy nice vibe into it..easy to listen to

and of course...

it talks about money..in a different perspective...

Jessie J: Price Tag

Seems like everybody’s got a price,
I wonder how they sleep at night.
When the sale comes first,
And the truth comes second,
Just stop, for a minute and
Smile
Why is everybody so serious
Acting so damn mysterious
Got your shades on your eyes
And your heels so high
That you can’t even have a good time
Everybody look to their left (yeah)
Everybody look to their right (ha)
Can you feel that (yeah)
We’re paying with love tonight’s not about the money, money, money
We don’t need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag
Ain’t about the (uh) Cha-Chang Cha-Chang.
Aint about the (yeah) Ba-Blang Ba-Blang
Wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag.
Okay!We need to take it back in time,
When music made us all unite
And it wasn’t low blows and video hoes,
Am I the only one getting tired
Why is everybody so obsessed
Money can’t buy us happiness
Can we all slow down and enjoy right now
Guarantee we’ll be feeling Alright.
Everybody look to their left (yeah)
Everybody look to their right (ha)
Can you feel that (yeah)
We’re paying with love tonight’s not about the money, money, money
We don’t need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag
Ain’t about the (uh) Cha-Chang Cha-Chang.
Aint about the (yeah) Ba-Blang Ba-Blang
Wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag.
[B.o.B]Yeah yeahWell, keep the price tag
And take the cash back
Just give me six strings and a half stack.
And you can keep the cars
Leave me the garage
And all I..Yes all I need are keys and guitars
And its with in 30 seconds I’m leaving to Mars
Yeah we leaping across these undefeatable odds
Its like this man, you can’t put a price on the life
We do this for the love so we fight and sacrifice everynight
So we aint gon stumble and fall never
Waiting to see this in the sign of defeat uh uh
So we gon keep everyone moving their feet
So bring back the beat and then everyone sing
It’s not about the money, money, money
We don’t need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag
Ain’t about the (uh) Cha-Chang Cha-Chang.
Aint about the (yeah) Ba-Blang Ba-Blang
Wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag.
It’s not about the money, money, money
We don’t need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag
Ain’t about the (uh) Cha-Chang Cha-Chang.
Aint about the (yeah) Ba-Blang Ba-Blang
Wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the Price Tag.
[Jessie J -Outro]
Yeah, yeahOo-oooh
Forget about the price tag.
